What is a business address of a company in Slovenia?
To register any kind of company in Slovenia you would need to present a business address in Slovenia, where the company’s business seat would be located. For most business activities, it can be both commercial or residential property. You can also do modifications of this address later, but without it you cannot register the company. This business address will be listed in all your correspondence and all the company’s post will come there, along with possible inspections for the business.
To register a company at a certain address, you would need consent of the owner of the premises. That person can either come with you to company registration or notarize the statement about allowing you to register the address there at a notary or administrative unit in Slovenia.
Modification of the company address in Slovenia for limited liability company
If you have an LTD company and would like to do modifications of the company address, you would need to change the act of establishment. Within it, there will also be a statement about the modification of the address. If it is a single-person LTD, where the shareholder and representative are one and the same person, only that person has to come to the authorized VEM point in Slovenia to change the address. Modification of the company address in a multi-person LTD company
If the limited liability company has more than one shareholder and would like to do the modification of the company address, firstly they would have to check the date of the company registration. In older companies, the registrations were carried out by the notary and in those cases, you would also have to do the change at the notary’s office or transform your company’s act of establishment to the newer model.
But in case of newer companies, it is most likely that the company was registered at a VEM point. In this, case the company address modifications can be arranged at any VEM point in Slovenia. The legal representative of the company has to come to the VEM point along with their passport and the consent of the owner. The court will send the notification of the company name modification in a couple days from signing the documents.
