Obligatory document for company registration – Slovenian tax number
One of the basic documents you need when registering a company in Slovenia is a Slovenian tax number. It is possible to obtain it without coming to Slovenia, based on authorization. For obtaining it you need to submit a filled-out request to the Slovenian tax office along with your personal documents from abroad. The Tax office usually issues it in 8 work days. Obligatory documents for company registration – statement of business address
When registering a company in Slovenia, you need to have a business address in the country. For registering a specific business address, you need consent of the owner of the business premises. That statement has to be notarized by the notary or administrative unit in Slovenia. The owner can also notarize the document at the VEM point where you will do the registration. Obligatory documents for company registration – act of establishment
The basic document for company registration is the act of establishment which is also an obligatory part of the application. It will include all the company details like: name of the company, shareholders, representatives, company address and company’s business activities. Either a notary or a consultant at the Slovenian VEM point can help you to prepare this document. As DATA is a licensed VEM point, we can also prepare the act of establishment based on your wishes. Final document for company registration – proof of depositing share capital
When registering an LTD company, it is obligatory to deposit 7500€ share capital. Based on all the above-mentioned documents you would open a bank account where you would deposit the share capital to. Then the bank issues a confirmation about this and gives you this statement. You need to bring or send this statement to the notary or VEM point where you have prepared the act of establishment.
Then the consultant can submit your company registration application to court. In around 3-5 business days from submitting the documents to court the company is officially registered.
