After depositing the founding capital, it takes the court 3-5 business days to register the company. At that point, the representative has to go back to the bank to activate the permanent bank account of the company. Once this is done, you can start doing your business in Slovenia and proceed to the process of relocating to Slovenia to oversee your business.
Relocating to Slovenia based on company establishment – conditions for business immigration
Only opening a company does not give you immediate right to start relocating to Slovenia. The company has to fulfill one of three conditions of active business conduct in order to be able to apply for the work and residence permit.
Once the company is established, the company has to fulfill one of these three conditions:
- Investing 50.000 € to fixed assets of the company
- Employing an EU citizen for a period of 6 months on a full work day
- Showing company turnover 10.000 €/month for 6 consecutive months.
When the company fulfills one of these conditions, you can submit the application for your work and residence permit and start the process of relocating to Slovenia.
