Property prices In Slovenia are higher by 1,1% in the first quarter of 2020 compared to last quarter of 2019. Even though it seemed that the coronavirus outbreak might decrease property prices in Slovenia, it is still not the case. Property prices in Slovenia in the first quarter of 2020

Property prices of new residential real estate were 0,1% higher in average in the first quarter of 2020 compared to last quarter of 2019. Also, property prices of used residential real estate grew by 1,2%. The accumulated value of all sold real estate in the first quarter was 289 million EUR. Due to the coronavirus there have not been as many concluded sales of real estate in this period, while there is a also a lost of new residential property in construction. The estimations are that when the new properties will enter the market and when the market stabilizes after coronavirus, property prices will most likely decrease and hence make it suitable for a lucrative investment.
