The fastest from the options is to make an investment to fixed assets. This means that your company has to purchase one or several items, of which the value is 50.000€ or more. The purchased items have to be connected to your company’s business activity. They can range from real estate, equipment, company car etc.
The company has to make the purchase within 6 months from company registration and after the purchase is made, you can apply for your work and residence permit for Slovenia.
Options for business immigration to Slovenia, EU – employing an EU citizen for 6 months
The other from the options your company can choose is to employ an EU citizen. You have to employ him on a full work day and he has to be employed in the company at least 6 months. In this time, he can offer services of your company or sell your products to generate income. After he is employed 6 months and received 6 salaries, you can apply for your work and residence permit.
Options for business immigration to Slovenia, EU – company turnover 10.000€/month for 6 months
The third from the options is having a specific monthly turnover of the company. If you have already a developed business and only transfer it to Slovenia, you can start generating income instantly. If the turnover that your company generates is at least 10.000€ per month for 6 consecutive months, you can apply for business immigration to Slovenia. Turnover means that you receive payment for your services or products from clients in the amount at least 10.000€ each month for 6 consecutive months.
Options for business immigration to Slovenia, EU – employing people with university education
There is another possibility to employ non-EU citizens in your company which is outside those options. If you plan on employing highly skilled staff from non-EU countries, the company does not have to fulfill any of the three conditions mentioned in the previous points. The prerequisite for this option is that the person you want to employ has at least university degree and that he passes labor market control in Slovenia.
