Forecast for the Slovenian economy
Even though the EU Commission issued a forecast for a decrease of the economy in the entire area until the end of this year, they have also estimated a surge in growth in the next year. Even though that due to coronavirus the EU commission issued a forecast of decrease in GDP by 7%, they already predict a 6,1% growth in 2021. Because of the appropriate economic measures taken by the government, unemployment stabilized. Also, they predict consumerism to recuperate in the second part of the year. In addition, inflation remains stable.
