Limited liability company in Slovenia – what documents do you need for registration?
A limited liability company is the easiest company to register in Slovenia. Additionally, it requires the least amount of documentation. Before company registration you would need to obtain a Slovenian tax number and arrange a business address for your company in Slovenia. Once you arranged those documents, you would have to prepare an act of establishment for the company. Characteristics of a limited liability company
A limited liability company is a private company limited by shares. It it s legal entity which can have more than one owner (shareholder). The owner provides the initial capital and is also later entitled to dividends in case the company has profit. In the limited liability company there also has to be a representative. That person holds the liability and is responsible for business conduct.
The shareholder can be any natural or legal person, regardless of nationality, whereas the the representative can only be a natural person. But also the representative of the company can be a foreigners, not only a local person.
