Immigration through business in Slovenia – conditions to apply for the work and residence permit
In order do to immigration through business, it is not enough only to establish the company. After registration, the company has to fulfill one of three conditions:
Investment into fixed assets in amount of at least 50.000 EUR
The company has one person (EU citizen) employed for at least 6 months for full-time
Company shows turnover for every month for the last 6 months in amount of 10.000 EUR.
To apply for the work and residence permit, the company has to fulfill only one of these conditions. When the condition is fulfilled, the representative can submit his application for immigration through business in Slovenia at Slovenian embassy in his country of residence.
Additionally, after one year of living in Slovenia, the representative’s spouse and children under 18 are eligible apply for residence permit through family reunification.
