Only establishing a company does not give you immediate right to immigrate and oversee your business. The company has to fulfill one of three conditions of active business conduct in order for the representative to be able to immigrate to Slovenia based on his business.
The three conditions are:
- Investing 50.000€ into fixed assets of the company
- Employing an EU citizen for a period of 6 months on a full workday
- Having company turnover 10.000€ each month for 6 consecutive months.
The company only has to fulfill one of these conditions in order for the representative to be able to start the process to immigrate to Slovenia.
Immigrate to Slovenia by establishing a company – investing 50.000€ to fixed assets of the company
This condition is applicable only for new companies – so companies which are younger than 6 months. It is not sufficient that the shareholders only deposit the 50.000€ to the bank account. You have to spend the funds for something that the company needs to do business with. This depends on the company’s business activity and ranges from real estate, company car, equipment etc. Once the investment is made, the representative can apply for work and residence permit through which he can later immigrate to Slovenia.
Immigrate to Slovenia by establishing a company – employing an EU citizen for 6 months
If you plan on starting business in Slovenia right away but would need help in doing so, you can employ an EU citizen in your company. EU citizens do not need to obtain work and residence permit beforehand and can be employed instantly after the company is established. You have to employ him on a full workday and after he is employed 6 months in your company, you can apply for work and residence permit which would allow you to also immigrate to Slovenia.
Immigrate to Slovenia by establishing a company – having 10.000€/month turnover for 6 months
If you have a set business plan and previous experience, you can establish a company and start your business conduct in Slovenia right away. If your business is going well and generates at least 10.000€ monthly turnover for 6 consecutive months, you can also start business immigration to Slovenia.
