Food establishment in Slovenia – general conditions
A food establishment is in most cases considered to be a restaurant where you prepare and serve food. The general conditions when serving and handling food is abiding by HACCP and other hygienic regulations. If your restaurant will also offer the possibility to serve food to eat on-site, the eating premises have to abide by minimal technical standards, as well as outside area. There are also certain limitations when selling tobacco and alcoholic products, for which you would need an additional permit.
