How can you participate on the platform with your Slovenian company?
In order to sell through Amazon Europe, you first need to register an appropriate legal form. Foreigners can register an LTD company in Slovenia with 7500€ share capital. During the company registration, the consultant on the VEM point has to insert the right business activity in your company’s act of establishment. Online or mail order sales fall under in the activity “Retail sale via mail order houses or via the Internet” (SKD code 47.910). The activity is not specifically regulated and does not require special education for its performance.
Online sales where products are delivered by mail (and there is no personal pick-up by customers) are also considered to be a silent activity and consequently do not require the use of an operating permit for the business address.
