Conditions for performing the activity and the education for starting a business

Although you do not need special education to start a business, it is often required for carrying out certain activities.

According to the conditions to perform activities, we divide them into:

Education for starting a business is not important in non-regulated activities!

For non-regulated activities you do not need formal conditions to carry them out. So, anyone can do them.

Non-regulated activities are, for example: consulting, event organization, programming, etc.

Regulated activities – do you need appropriate education?

Regulated activities are those activities for you need to meet conditions in order to perform them. Conditions can be e.g. obtaining of a license, registration with the authorities, correct business premises, but also correct education.

Although education is a condition for performing certain activities, it is not necessary for the company registration. One of the employees in the company can meet the condition of education. It does not necessarily have to be the founder or the representative.

Regulated activities are, for example: manpower supply, real estate brokerage, insurance, transportation, childcare at home, medical activities, etc.

Craft activities

Craft activities are defined in the Regulation on Craft Activities. These include production of bread (bakery), certain construction activities. Also, repair of machinery and equipment, hairdressing, cosmetics, etc. A person who is the holder of a craft activity must have the education for this activity. Special education for opening a company is not a condition, but it is necessary for carrying out the activity.

Even in this case, you do not need education to open a company. However, the person who will act as the holder of the activity has to meet the condition of education. The holder of a craft activity can also be one of the employees in the company. It does not have to be the founder of the company or the representative himself.
