Business immigration to Slovenia for business owners
Before the change in legislation in 2015, majority owners of an LTD company in Slovenia could apply for work and residence permit. But since 2015, the legislation foresees that the representative of the company can apply for work and residence permit if one of the following conditions of active business conduct is fulfilled:
- investment into fixed assets in the amount of at least 50.000€
- or employ an EU citizen for 6 months on full-time salary,
- or show 10.000€ monthly revenue each month for 6 consecutive months.
But fulfilling one of these conditions enables the company to also employ additional non-EU staff through labor market control. Those employees can also be business owners or shareholders in your company.
