This company type also requires the least amount of documentation, as the shareholders only have to present Slovenian tax numbers and a business address in Slovenia.

A subsidiary is also a limited liability company, with the difference that here the owner is another foreign legal entity. This company type still requires 7500€ share capital, but here the parent company deposits it in the bank account.
A subsidiary is a good choice for those entrepreneurs who already built a successfull business abroad and would like to expand to a new territory or market. But a subsidiary still gives the entrepreneur the flexibility to engage in additional busienss activities, as this company type is a separate an independent legal entity.
Branch office is a popular company type for those who only extend their existing services to a new territory
A branch office is the right company choice for those entrepreneurs who only want to extend their existing services or products to a new market. Usually, it is used for marketing purposes and some supporting business activities. A branch office is not a separate legal entity but rather an extension of the parent company. It can only carry out the same activities as the parent company and completely depends on the parent company as well. Because of all these reasons it also requires no share capital for the registration.
