The year of economic growth in numbers
The numbers do not lie. At the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia they note that from the beginning of the year to the end of September 2017 GDP growth compared to the previous year rised by 4,7 %. They add that the pre-crisis level was achieved already in the second quarter of 2017 – the period of recovery in the Slovenian economy ended.
In the first half of 2017, companies generated a surplus of 120 million euros. The investment activity in companies is growing. Companies generated 3,4 percent higher incomes than the year before.
Entrepreneurs expect growth in 2018 as well.

Consumers are also optimistic. The year of economic growth has increased the confidence to the highest level since 1996, since it is measured.
Unemployment was at its lowest level since 2009. Unemployment in the third quarter of last year was 6,3 %.
