Surplus of 193 million EUR - Slovenia's economic outturn

Slovenia’s surplus was higher by 134 million EUR

In the third quarter of 2019, the country created a surplus of 193 million EUR. Compared to the same period of 2018, the surplus was 134 EUR higher. The growth of accumulated income was higher than the expenses by 2,6%.

The accumulated income of Slovenia was 5.430 million EUR in the third quarter of 2019. In comparison to the same period in 2018, they were higher by 7,4%. Also, the biggest influence on the growth were the income from social contributions. Growth of tax revenue was at 5,8%, on which the taxes on income and property were the most notable ones. Additionally, the taxes on production and import were higher by 3,5% and amounted to the surplus with 59 million EUR.
