Daughter company in Slovenia – procedure of registration

A daughter company, or a subsidiary, is a limited liability company. It is an independent legal entity, which means that you can do business in EU even for those business activities that your parent company is not registered for. The difference from a regular LTD company is only ownership. In case of a daughter company, the owner or shareholder will be your parent company.

In order to register a daughter company, you would need the following documents:

  • a Slovenian tax number for the parent company,
  • Slovenian tax numbers for representatives of the parent company,
  • Slovenian tax numbers for the representatives of the daughter company, if it is not the same person,
  • extract of the parent company from the business registry,
  • notarized statement of the owner of the business address in Slovenia,
  • 7500€ share capital.

At DATA, we can organize everything necessary to obtain the tax numbers through authorization. Also, if your daughter company does not have a business address, DATA can provide services of virtual office. Additionally, we offer business support with accounting services and legal consultation.
