To start a business immigration, your first step will be to open a company in Slovenia. As a non EU citizen, you can open a limited liability company. Expanding an existing business is also possible by opening a subsidiary or branch. All three types of companies will give you the chance to start a business immigration to Slovenia. In addition, all three types of companies must have the same conditions for active business. Which is required to start a business immigration from A to Z.

Every company in Slovenia, regardless of who the owner is, must meet one of the following conditions to start a business immigration or hire foreign staff:
– € 50,000 investment in the company’s fixed assets within the first 6 months after the registration of the company
– or employment of one EU citizen in a full time company for 6 months
– or show a company revenue of € 10,000 or more consistently each month for 6 months.

Family reunification
Once you have obtained a work permit and a residence permit in Slovenia and registered your temporary address here, you can start fulfilling the conditions for family reunification.
