In June, FURS issued fines to more than 400 comapnies and entrpreneurs which didn’t have bank account. So, how is possible that company doesn’t have account? Sometimes they decide to close account when their company is not in bussiness. And after that they don’t reopen it. Also bank can refuse to open an account. If this happen then you must open account with another provider.

How high are the fines for operating without an account?
The fines for doing business without bank account are really high. Actually so high, that some companies can’t afford them. They are between 800 € to 30.000 € for business entities. And not only that. Responisble persons must also pay fine! For them fines are between 400 € and 4.000 €. Fines for sole proprietors are between 800 € to 10.000 €.
