Registration of a new company – what are the requirements?
Founding capital
To register a company, you need to meet a few conditions. Firstly, you need a founding capital in the amount of EUR 7,500. You can pay as a natural person. If you want to open a subsidiary, the parent company pays the amount. Secondly, you don’t need founding capital to open a branch, because it is not a legal entity and depends on the parent company. Slovenian tax number
To register a company, you need to obtain a Slovenian tax number for owners and directors. For the subsidiary, you need to get the tax number for the parent company, which is the same owner. That requires a printout from the court register, which is not older than 30 days. Also, it needs to be notarized and translated in Slovenian. Still, it is also necessary to attach a certification of an open and active bank account for the parent company.
Business address
