What was the average salary in Slovenia in June 2020?
The Statistical Office of Slovenia was able to assess the amounts of wages which employers paid in Slovenia in June 2020. The average salary in June 2020 (gross amount) was 1812,73 EUR, which was 5,4% less than the average salary in May. Whereas the net average salary was 1175,47 EUR in June 2020 – it is 6,7% less than in May.

Highest and lowest gross salary in Slovenia in June 2020
The average gross salary in June was by 4,6% lower in the public sector and by 3,3% in the private sector. The highest average gross salary was in the field of electric energy and gas – it amounted to 2905,56 EUR. Whereas the health and social security sector experienced the biggest decrease in June, compared to May 2020.

Gross average salary in Slovenia in the first 6 months of 2020
If we assess the average salary for the first 6 months of 2020, the gross average salary amounted to 1830,91 EUR, while the net average salary amounted to 1193,23 EUR.
