A non-EU citizen can register an LTD company in Slovenia. It is a private company limited by shares. It requires at least one shareholder and at least one director.
You will have to come to Slovenia to register the company. Company registration requires at least 14 days of your presence in Slovenia.
At company registration, you would have to present the following documents:
- Slovenian tax numbers for all representatives and shareholders
- Business address in Slovenia
- 7.500€ founding capital
- Your valid passport

It takes about 8 days to obtain the Slovenian tax number. When you have it, you can come to Slovenia for company registration with all the above-mentioned documents.

The consultant would prepare the act of establishment of your company. With that document you have to go to a bank in Slovenia in order to open the temporary bank account.
You deposit the founding capital 7.500€ to that temporary bank account. Afterwards, the court takes 3-5 business days to register the company. Once you receive the court’s decree, you can go back to the bank and open a permanent bank account.
This would conclude the company registration process and you can start your business in Slovenia.
