Imports amounted to 42 billion euros, which means that they increased by almost 31 percent. Exports and imports – most exports to Germany

The coverage of imports by exports was 93.9% last year. Last year, most goods were exported from Slovenia to Germany (17.3% of total exports of goods). Important markets for Slovenian exporters were Switzerland (13.4%), Italy (10.7%), Croatia (7.9%) and Austria (6.6%).

In 2021, we also imported the most goods from Germany, otherwise almost 15% of total imports of goods. Then is Italy (11.3%), Switzerland (10.1%), China (10%) and Austria (8.8%).  Exports and imports – what did we export the most? The largest contributors to total exports are products from the machinery and transport equipment sectors (32.5% of total exports of goods). This was followed by chemical products, products classified by material, various products and mineral fuels.
