Popular business activities in the year 2020 for the sole traders
In the year 2020, we registered a total of 347 sole traders at our DATA VEM point. Below is a graph of the main activities they chose.
In the setup procedures in the year 2020, it became clear that sole traders set up the business mostly to market their knowledge and skills. They chose these popular business activities: business services, education, IT services and arts services.
What about the other various activities? Here, they chose real estate rental, landscaping, health services. Also popular were design, medical services, personal assistance, architectural services, translation, courier services.
Popular business activities in the year 2020 for the LTD companies
In the last year, the most popular business choice amongst the LTD companies was trade.
Out of a total of 119 LTD businesses registered at our DATA VEM point, most of them chose trade as their main activity. Trade can mean brokerage in sales, but also wholesale trade and retail trade.
As can be seen from the graph, construction, business services and real estate rental are also very popular. Other service activities included the main activities related to catering, cleaning, media services, architecture and health services.

In the last year, the epidemic played a big part in the choice of the main activity. During the year, two services stood out. Namely, web shop and theother postal and courier services (like home delivery of food).
