In order to register a representative office in Slovenia, you have to provide certain documents from the parent company.

- Act of establishment of the parent company
- Financial report for the previous business year from the parent company
- Extract from the business registry for the parent company, which is not older than 3 months.
You need to properly attest all those documents and translate them to Slovenian language. Based on those documents you firstly obtain the Slovenian tax number for the parent company. Also, all representatives of the parent company as well as the company in establishing need to obtain a Slovenian tax number.
You would also need to prepare a decree of establishing the representative office as well as a statement from the director agreeing to be director in the new company. Your representative office would also need a business address in Slovenia, so you need to provide the statement as well.
Based on all those documents, the notary can submit the application for company registration to court. The branch is then established in around 15 days. Once the company is visible in the business registry, the representative can come to Slovenia to open a bank account. Afterwards you can proceed to doing your business in Slovenia.
