European Business Awards selected Data d.o.o. as a National Champion representing Slovenia in the 2013/14 European Business Awards. As a National Champion Data d.o.o. will go on to compete in the second phase of the competition resulting in successful organizations being short-listed for Ruban d’Honneur status.
The European Business Awards is a European awards programme which started in 2007. EBA is an independent Awards programme designed to recognize and promote excellence, best practice and innovation in the European business community.
The European Business Awards’ primary purpose is to support the development of a stronger and more successful business community throughout Europe.
The Awards’ aims to:
- draw attention to and recognize our best businesses and what they are doing.
- enable companies of all sizes and industries to compare themselves to and learn from the very best in Europe.
- stimulate the debate about the future shape, form and substance of the business community in Europe.
Every year the European Business Awards is judged by a prestigious panel of experts and involves some of Europe’s key political figures.
This year 17.000 companies from 31 European countries applied for European Business Awards. After the first round 527 companies were selected to go in the second round. 7 Slovenian companies and among which was DATA d.o.o., were selected among 17.000 companies to compete further for Ruban d’Honneur status.
Until 11.11.2013, 527 companies – National Champions have time to submit a video entry for further assessment by the judging panel.
When public voting will be finished, 100 best voted videos will be selected and representatives of the companies will go to London to present the video to the judges. In the end the judging panel will choose a winner for each of the 10 Award categories.
