You can register your business in Slovenia at one of the points “One-Stop Shop”. The point “One-Stop Shop” allows you to register your business in Slovenia, register in social insurance funds, publish a vacancy to find future workers, add or change the activities of the company, etc.

Do you have the right to register your business in Slovenia?
In order to register your business in Slovenia as a foreign citizen, you have to obtain various documents. Firstly, you will need a Slovenian tax number. To obtain it, you will have to fill out a special request form and show your ID. For our clients, we can obtain the tax number on the basis of the power of attorney, which is prepared by our legal service. We can receive the tax number within one day.
In order to obtain the tax number for your company, you will also have to submit the extract from the register of your company and the certified translation.
For the purpose of register your business in Slovenia, you must also prove that you were not convicted on the territory of the Republic of Slovenia. Therefore, you will have to submit the certificate of non-criminal record. We can obtain in on your behalf, in the same way as your tax number. It takes up to 7 days to receive it.
How to register your business in Slovenia – the registration procedure
All the founders must attend the registration procedure. They have to have with them:
- the Slovenian tax number
- the certificate of non-criminal record
- information about reservation of the company name – optional
- permission of the land lord of the place, where your company will be located
